Hi Southway. The Devon and Cornwall Food action charity is offering free food parcels that can be delivered every other week up until Christmas. Whether you are a family or someone on there own, it does not matter. We do not means test or refuse anybody. If you are in need please call 01752 651800 and ask for food parcel in my name Rev Iain Southway. We aim to start the Southway and Widewell deliveries on the 30th Nov, but you can put your name down now.

God bless and keep yourself safe by thinking of others. Rev Iain.

What do the new lockdown plans mean for churches?

The Government has said England will begin a month-long lockdown on Thursday 5 November. Its guidance says church buildings can remain open for individual prayer, for funeral services and to broadcast acts of worship but not for public services.
www.gov.uk/guidance/new-national-restrictions-from-5-november#weddings-civil-partnerships-religio...

Exemptions include:

Formal childcare setting or where the building is part of a school

Essential voluntary and public services, such as blood donation or food banks

Other exempted activities such as some support groups

Exeter Cathedral and a number of churches across Devon hold online church services throughout the week and you are very welcome to join them wherever you are! Find out how here: exeter.anglican.org/resources/worship/sunday-services-to-watch-online/
